i was like super nervous? yea. first day wad. suppose to wake up at 5.45 but in e end woke up at 5.30. n i was like super awake. then daddy took me to parkway to take e sch bus there. sat with regina in e bus.((: reached sch then i was like blurblur. dunno where's my class wad. lucky got this nice SF [student facilitator] bring me n another yr one to class. met our SFs there. our overall 1G I/C vanessa, A I/C shafaye, n e other SFs jialing, grace, peng jie[otherwise known as pj] n another one whose name i dunno. =.= yepp. e SFs were realli nice.(((: then u noe we all got a shock cos the PA system suddenly played music? n its lyk pop songs lyk beautiful soul by jesse mccartney. ahahaha! cool man. lolx. aft tt went for flag-raising. sang e national anthem n said pledge. but no sch song. ?? later then we noe tt sch song is only sang on mondays. == okay. went back to class for icebreakers. we were introed to our form tchr, mr seow. once again, my ft is my sc tchr. == okie. den we had to intro ourselves one by one. by the mth we're born in...so jan go first la. den got one gurl in feb intro herself n said tt her fav shows r spore dramas. so mr seow was like "na ge huang jin lu ah?" hahaha. den everyone started laughing. den when it was until me in april i oso sae i like spore drama serials. so everyone went "another huang jin lu fan!" hahahaha. yup yup. den cos i'm e only one born in april in my class so they call me e april fool. == wth. hahax. den we realised alot of 'huang jin lu' fans. hahaha. made a new fren who sat beside me, wei ting. :D yays! she's realli nice(: aft icebreakers we went for break! i tried e mushroom noodles. not bad la, but i dont think it's worth my $1.30. hahahaha. XD did alotta cheers in e canteen too. i'll write all e cheers below at e end of the post k? yup so aft tt we went for the sch tour or oso known as 'the tour around olympia'. lol cos our orientation theme is OLYMPICS. hahaha.

yepp. so we were given this pic which was split into diff parts. then we were suppose to guess where izit. but it was super obvious can, cos got the 2 words: lecture theatre. =.= hahaha. pj act blur sae where is this place ah? den everyone tot its trick ques cos cannot be so easy the ans alr on the paper. then he come n ask me. i sae lecture theatre lor! den he was like...smart. but u noe where izit anot? of cos i dunno la! he come n humiliate me! hahahahaXD made our way to e lecture theatre where we were suppose to find puzzle pieces to find out where's our nxt destination. but in e end we find 8 den cannot find alr. weiting n me were like: must be someone purposely hide ours. cos realli our whole class, 36 of us cannot find lor. hahas. but thru the 8 pieces we cld find out where izit. den e stupid pj go n scare me n weiting by suddenly hanging a fake lizard in front of our faces. =.= idiot. but we didnt scream, to his disappointment. haha! went to this alley, where there were 4 boxes. we queued in rows of 9 n were supposed to put our hand in our respective boxes den make a guess wad izit. aft tt, the moment of truth. my box was nth much la. nth alive inside. hahaha. it was juz biscuits. the first box was egg yolk. eeeww. but the nxt one is even more eeeewwwww. SQUID! like wth?! realli real squid leh! but dead one la of cos. then it was in this black liquid so if u stick ur hand in ur fingers will be black! super gross can. the third n fourth were ok la, third was mine: biscuits. then fourth was jelly. hahaha. ok den we made our way to outside LT 2&3. we had ta play this game where by abt 10 of us squeeze on one bench den we hav to arrange ourselves according to anth, like b'dae, surname etc. super scary on e bench can! hahaha. but it was fun. alotta team work.(: aft tt went back to class. mr seow talked to us abt the code of conduct in our sch n stuff. then we had grp work abt how to show respect in public. our grp was on e bus/train. den florence gave one funny one like cannot show any forms of 'love' in public transport. haha! okay. aft tt we did our flag-making, identity making n discussing abt e mascot. everyone split to do diff stuff la. in e end we decided on zhang che to be the mascot simply cos he was the biggest size. == hahaha. then me, weiting, florence, yuxuan n a few others did e flag while e SFs helped make the identity with the other gals. e guys damn lazy la, nvr do anth. =.= anyway the identity is like a sticker which can identify tat we r from 1Galen. oh! did i mention our class is called GALEN? haha. juz for this orientation. A was altair, B bellanca, C cleon, D daria, E erasma, F fortini, G galen, H helea, I idylla, J jeno, K kiron n L lystra. yepp! galen rawks!!! whoots. yepp designed the flag then. then cos we 1G so florence drew a gorilla to represent us. hahahaha. in e end our flag was super nice! yayyy! finally, aft a long day, we went home. mrted to eunos be4 taking bus back. hee:P
3 jan, thurs.
second day of sch! not as nervous(: den while i was waiting in class with some ppl for the rest to come, i saw suehwee! n she's in my class!!! whoo~ yay finally someone i noe in 1G. yays. she juz transferred from KC. (((: lols. den cos raining so we didnt hav flag-raising. juz sang in class. den our SFs brought us to e gym where we assembled for the opening ceremony for the 'olympics'. hahaha. we were oso taught our nicenice level song, at the beginning from the show anastasia. anybody got e song pls send to me!!!:D yepp. aft tt mr sng, our principal, declared the ceremony officially open with a loud GONG! hahaha. yays. then there was this guy who ran to the front lyk as if he's carrying the real olympics torch. hah super funny can! lolx. then party poppers! hee. we immediately started the 'olympics'. hahaha. it was split into Olympic Games I n Olympic Games II. OG I was the team n mind games. our first station was the spot the diff game. we had to see everything in the gym carefully. den aft tt we left the gym for a while be4 re-entering to spot the differences. some of them quite obvious la. hahaha. but others were lyk: the missing plastic bag, the change in position of a tennis ball, n a missing chair from a stack of chairs. hahahaha. luckily we were observant enuff! yays~ haha okie. nxt was the ping pong ball game. 2 classes were to compete against each other by trying to blow e ping pong ball across the opponent's line. the opponent can block using their body but not their hands. hehe. in the end our class was up against 1Lystra, GEPers!!! hahahaha. [ok no offence to any GEPers who happen to read this] so we all ping ming blow the ping pong ball...cannot lose to them!! the first few rounds they blew it across our line; so we keep replacing ppl. zhang che pro can, he go in only blow across le. hahaha! so in e end we won(: yays! lolx. okok. then we oso had this game where we had ta arrange our shoes/water bottles to make chinese words. then 5 ppl were to go up to the nxt lvl to guess wad word izit. we were able to finish it lyk super fast? yeahs. then went back ta the gym for this blindfold game. we had to grp ourselves n blind fold our eyes. only one leader will be in front to lead the grp across the obstacle course. it was damn scary can! hahaha. yups so aft tt we went for lunch be4 proceeding on to OG II. the first one was this 'football' game. only some had to participate... so abt half the class juz watched. then while we were watching suehwee plucked a flower n 'proposed' to me. == she so bad rite?? pluck out the flower! hahaha. den i sae where's my ring?? so she tried ta make a grass one for me. den grace came over n said aiyo, must give diamond ring wad...lidat no cheng yi rite? haha she damn cute. nxt was the 'captain's sponge' game. hahahahahaha. geddit? its like captain's ball but instead we used a wet sponge. hahaha! split into 2 grps of 18 to play. played against 1Lystra again! LOL. my grp went first. u noe e sponge is super hard to catch lor! got a few times i was lyk struggling to catch it...lyk its some jumping fish lidat. hahaha. but in e end we lost 3-0. ?!!! so we prayed n cheered lyk crazy for the nxt grp. n they won! yays!!! hahahaha. super fun la. so long nvr play captain's ball alr...rilli miss it):
alrite! nxt station was the duck walk one. we each had 3 pegs on our left sleeve. then, going against 1Fortini, we had ta duck walk towards each other n try to pull off their pegs n oso try to avoid them snatching ur pegs away. hahaha. fun la but legs were super tired. hee:P our nxt station was my fav: the chairs game. there's a row of 10 chairs, n with 2 classes competing against each other, one person from each class has to bounce on each chair until they reach each other. then hav ta scissors paper stone. winner moves on, loser goes back to the start. once a person reaches the end of the line scores points for e class. now we were going against 1Jeno. i think we lost. hahahaha. not sure cos it was super messy. lol! but funnnnn. then while florence was playing she fell off the chair! backwards somemore. we all saw it lyk slow motion. but cos she noe she was falling so she alr got xin li zhun bei. hahas. so she wasnt hurt. whoots. den at e end of everything we went ta the canteen for drinks.:D den aft a short debrief, we went home. (: mrted with tsejie, xinrui, yongying n fanghua. but only me, yy n fh stop at eunos. then we took diff buses back. super shag lor. long long day. but it was fun:D:D:D

todae didnt wake up early cos we were asked to go only at 3. whoots~ slept lyk a pig. hahahaha. took bus to sch. then the driver for bus 14 drive lyk he drunk lidat; super fast lor! dunno wad he chionging for. == nuts alr. tats y i reached sch lyk super early. our SFs taught us our new cheers for item preparation for tonite's concert. da cheers rawked! except some which r weird. hahaha. then dressed up our mascot as well. aft tt we changed into our orientation t-shirt be4 going for dinner. nth much, juz packet rice but still nice(: we oso played this game when the AV ppl played a verse of some songs n we had to guess it to win points. hahaha. but my fan ying chi dun la, so i didnt raise up in time. boo): lucky our classmate cld guess it. hehe. then while dinner they oso played song dedications by all e classes. whoots! aft dinner went ta the hall for e concert. super cool they put 5 hoola hoops to make the olympic symbol. hahaha. concert was ok, each class went up on stage to do their cheers. then had a skit put up by the SFs too. vanessa was lyk the lead. haha u rawk our I/C! lols. then aft everything we stood up n sang peng you by zhang xueyou. it was super sad can. but u can tell everyone is bonded so closely when we're all singing n waving our hands up in e air. ((: then sang our level song, at the beginning. this song rawks k! then at the chorus we all started jumping n going high. whoo~~~ super super funnnn. then, it all came to an end. our vice principal declared the olympics officially closed. many many boos. then we all started screaming "encore! encore!" haha xiao le la. then the person carried the fake torch again n ran slowly out of the hall. lols. but well, lyk the emcees said, all good things come to an end. juz wanna thank all the SFs, SCs, emcees n tchrs for making this all possible! u guys rawk!!! thx for making this the most memorable orientation ever! yayyy!!! three cheers for u guys!!!
